Race for Recovery 5K Run & Fun Walk

Thanks to all who supported and participated in our 17th Annual Race for Recovery held on Saturday, September 27^th at Cooper River Park! All proceeds fund the Peter P. Black IV Scholarship Fund at Maryville, which supports those unable to afford treatment. The fund was founded by Kathleen “Kate” Holt in honor of her son Peter, who passed away in 2004 from a substance use disorder. The event was the most successful race yet, raising more than $39,000 for the scholarship fund.
