Ways to Give
Matching Gifts
Matching gift programs are a company’s way of supporting its employees and charitable causes at the same time. When an employee makes a gift to a nonprofit organization, the company matches or exceeds it with its own donation. Check with your employer to see if they offer a matching gift program.
Tribute Gift
A tribute gift is a thoughtful way to celebrate a special person or occasion while supporting Maryville’s mission. The honoree will receive a letter informing him or her of your gift.
Memorial Gift
Memorial gifts are a heartfelt way to honor and remember a loved one. An acknowledgement letter will be sent to a person of your choosing.
Planned Giving
Members of our 1949 Legacy Society are able to create a lasting legacy by leaving a gift in their will or by naming Maryville as a beneficiary in a retirement account or life insurance policy.
United Way of Gloucester County
Maryville is a proud partner agency of the United Way of Gloucester County. To designate Maryville as your pledge recipient, simply complete that section of the pledge form.
United Way of Greater Philadelphia & Southern New Jersey
If your company participates in the annual campaign of the United Way of Greater Philadelphia & Southern New Jersey, use code 3920 to make Maryville the recipient of your donation.

If you are an employee of New Jersey, you can designate Maryville as your charity of choice. Maryville’s charity code is 1412.

Special Events
Maryville holds three special events during the year with opportunities for participation through individual or group attendance and/or sponsorship. Company sponsorships are a great way to support Maryville while simultaneously marketing your company.
- The Recovery for Life Gala is Maryville’s signature event where more than 300 people enjoy dinner, dancing, and entertainment. Maryville honors a member of the community with the “Advocacy in Action Award,” which recognizes an individual who has made a significant impact in the field of addiction.
The following event supports the Peter P. Black IV Scholarship fund to assist Maryville patients who are unable to pay for substance abuse treatment.
- The Race for Recovery 5K Run and Fun Walk is an opportunity for passionate runners as well as the general public to get physically active while supporting a great cause. Groups and individuals of all ages come together for a 5K run (3.1 miles) or a relaxed 1 mile walk. Awards, refreshments, and activities for the kids are part of this fun morning event.
