2026 Race for Recovery 5K Run & Fun Walk

Maryville Integrated Care welcomed runners, walkers, families, friends and supporters for its 18th Annual Race for Recovery, bringing the community together for a morning centered on recovery, connection and hope.

More than a 5K and fun walk, the Race for Recovery is an opportunity to celebrate people in recovery, support individuals and families whose lives have been affected by substance use, and remind our community that recovery is possible.

Throughout the morning, participants ran, walked, cheered one another on and celebrated together. From families crossing the finish line to friends embracing after the race, the day was filled with moments that reflected what recovery can look like: connection, perseverance, joy, belonging and people showing up for one another.

The Race for Recovery also supports the Peter P. Black IV Scholarship Fund at Maryville, helping individuals access treatment and services regardless of their ability to pay.

For 18 years, this event has demonstrated the strength of a community united around recovery. Every participant, volunteer, supporter and family member who joined us helped make this year’s race another meaningful chapter in that tradition.

We are grateful to everyone who ran, walked, volunteered, supported the event and helped create a day filled with encouragement and connection.

Recovery is taking the next step. Recovery is being there for the moments that matter. Recovery is community. And recovery is possible.
