Maryville was recently awarded Burlington County funding to help overdose victims connect to the treatment and supports they need to achieve recovery. Recovery Coaches will be working alongside Burlington County First Responders, remaining available 24/7 to respond to overdose calls and to provide six weeks of recovery coaching. This coaching will support individuals in building recovery capital, utilizing external (community services and supports) and internal (skill identification and development) resources.
We were also awarded a NJ Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services contract to double the capacity of our Contingency Management program. Contingency Management focuses on individuals with stimulant disorders, using the evidence-based practice of a reward system in conjunction with therapy to help clients achieve and sustain recovery. The program will now serve 200 clients annually through Maryville’s outpatient sites in Turnersville and Vineland.
